Updated version of my Lilo animation

For the last week of semester we were given time to touch up any past animation of our choice. I didn't get to fix her as much as I would have liked, but here's the newer "Lilo" animation!

Layout... Sigh...

Layout was one of the greatest challenges for me in 3rd semester. I've always been more interested in drawing people than things, and suddenly I was faced with composition, line quality, and hardest of all: giving character to inanimate objects.

Here's my final layout assignment for 3rd semester. It still needs a lot of work, but it's an improvement on my past efforts =)

Panther in Wonderland

We've been working on an Alice assignment for two weeks now.
She's far from perfect, but she's finally done. What a challenge!

Before Alice, we animated the pink panther. The assignment was to have him lift a boulder and throw it onto a seesaw. The resulting gag was up to us. Enjoy!

First year is coming to an end!

First year, second semester is coming to a close. Design class has us designing characters and doing pose sheets, hand sheets etc... So... Here are mine!

One or two of the hand drawings should be partially credited to someone else but I can't remember the resource... They were drawn by me but with heavy referencing from specific styles I found on the web. So I apologize for losing your link, kind stranger, but you've been a stepping stone to my education of hands!

On another note, I've finally purged my blog of all my old drawings. I was becoming a hoarder.

Now it's my job to fill this blog right up again with newer, better art!

Life Drawing, By the end of 1st Semester

This has been selected as my best piece from first semester.
Now let's see if I can improve upon that by the end of second semester!
